Applicants must prepare the following 11 important documents before applying on RTE Gujarat Admission Portal:
1. Child’s Passport Size Photo
Latest color photo with clear face
Plain background
Format: JPG
Size: Below 500KB
2. Child’s Aadhaar Card
Mandatory for identity verification
Must have correct name as per birth certificate
If not available, apply at nearest Aadhaar center
3. Parent/Guardian Aadhaar Card
Father or mother Aadhaar required
Name must match all other documents
Any mismatch may lead to rejection
4. Birth Certificate
Main proof of age
Issued by Gram Panchayat / Municipality / Hospital
Age must be between 5 years 6 months to 6 years (as on 1 June 2026)
Even 1-day difference can reject application
5. Income Certificate (Most Important)
Must be issued by Mamlatdar or TDO only
Valid for 6 months only
Income limit: ₹6,00,000 per year
Wrong authority = direct rejection
6. Address Proof
Any one of the following:
Aadhaar Card
Electricity Bill
Water Bill
Ration Card
Rent Agreement
7. Caste Certificate (If Applicable)
Required for SC/ST/SEBC category
Issued by Mamlatdar or authorized officer
8. BPL Certificate (If Applicable)
For Below Poverty Line families
Issued by government authority
9. Disability Certificate (If Applicable)
Minimum 40% disability required
Issued by government medical board
UDID card also accepted
10. Parent Bank Passbook
First page with account details
Used for ₹3000 DBT benefits
11. Self Declaration Form
Filled online during application process
📂 File Upload Rules (Very Important)
While applying on RTE Gujarat Admission Portal, follow these rules:
File size: Maximum 500KB
Format: JPG or PDF
Resolution: 200–300 DPI
Documents must be clear and readable
Avoid blur, shadow, or cut images
